Document Control Specialist

Cajun Industries is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support our quality and project teams by ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with established standards, and efficient workflow execution. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of project documents, traceability tracking, and supporting day-to-day administrative functions.

The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently maintain confidentiality while delivering high-quality administrative and document control support.

Key Responsibilities

· Organize, maintain, and update project documentation in accordance with company standards and procedures.

· Perform data entry, document reviews, editing, and revisions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

· Track document status, version control, and approvals throughout the project lifecycle.

· Support project teams with reporting, documentation requests, and administrative coordination.

· Identify discrepancies or missing information, follow up for corrections, and ensure timely resolution.

· Recommend and help implement process improvements to enhance document management efficiency.

· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold quality control standards.

· Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related tools to prepare reports, track information, and support daily operations.

Qualifications

· Demonstrated experience in document control, administrative support, or a similar detail-oriented role.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management tools.

· Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Experience editing, formatting, and reviewing technical or project documentation is preferred.
