    Scope Of Work For Electrical Engineer

    The Electrical Engineer will be hired as a contract employee on a temporary basis.

    WORKING EXPERIENCE:  10 plus years in project engineering related experience.

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

    Provide concise, factual project designs, allowing effective construction/installation of facilities. Works with other Engineers, Designers, Construction QA/QC, and contracted contractors to install "new" facility installations. Provides project control documentation as required; including but not limited to project design (from conceptual plan), project estimation, material/Equipment procurement, contracting requirements scheduling requirements, construction requirements, project closure requirements, status reporting, etc.

    Must be able to handle the below specific job tasks:

    •  Act as Project PIC involving activities from conception to construction completion, including design, equipment/material specification and purchase, development of bid packages, management of construction activities, various engineering applications, etc. 
    • Have knowledge skills with the following:
    1. Power transmission & distribution system evaluation/selection. 
    2. Electrical equipment’s specifications, sizing, evaluation, and purchase.
    3. Electrical system design, include: Grounding, Lighting, Power and control system (such as layout, One-line, schematic,… )..etc.
    4. Computer skills such as word and excel software.
    5. Microstation or Autocad drafting/design.
    • Work with other discipline engineers for review options of project P&ID's and construction and equipment drawings and layout.
    • Ensure that the contractors meet FPC's construction guidelines, bid scope, project specifications/procedures, etc. 
    • Assist with design and drafting activities, as required. 
    • Assist BR/EC's activities in regards to schedule control and B-Pert/C-chart management. 
    • Provide assistance in all project phases (from conception to completion) in an effort to increase departmental performance and efficiency.


    Work would be at the client’s plant site and a normal work week would be Monday thru Friday, eight (8) hours per day. The client does not normally require work beyond scheduled work hours, but when required this employee would be normally expected to work the additional time required. Work direction and supervision would be by the client’s personnel. Duration of this assignment is listed as one – two years depending on the progress of expansions.
